The Northwest Missouri State University Tower Choir has received an invitation to perform at the annual Missouri Educators Association In-Service Workshop and Conference (MMEA).

Under the direction of Dr. Stephen Town, Tower Choir is an award-winning choral ensemble at Northwest Missouri State and has performed more than 130 concerts in its twenty-year existence.

It will mark the fourth time the Tower Choir has performed at the event. The Missouri Educators Association Conference is set for January 22nd - 25th, 2020 in Osage Beach and will host 3,600 registrants and over 10,000 attendees.

A performance at the MMEA represents the highest statewide honor to which a school music ensemble can aspire. Members of the choir say that the invitation is a result of their commitment to the craft and the development of skills that will lead to success in their careers.
